Getting Network Information: Mac OS X
Open the "Go" menu item from the Finder menus and click on "Utilities".
Find the "Network Utility" icon and double-click on it.
Make sure that the correct Network Interface is chosen and then you can find
the Hardware (MAC) Address and the IP Address from that screen. This
information will be needed by the IT Support Desk if you call them. This
information can also be useful if you are going through the troubleshooting
pages yourself.
