Anti-spyware Software

There are many different programs out there for finding and removing spyware that has gotten installed on your computer. Most of them are legitimate, however, some of them are actually spyware themselves. There are three programs listed on this page that have been tested and declared safe. You can download the software from the links provided. It is strongly recommended that you use at least one of these as much as possible.

• Adaware is a product of Lavasoft and is free for personal use only. It is a very effective spyware detection and removal program.
• Spybot is a great program for removing spyware. It is also free.
• Windows Defender is a product from Microsoft. It is a pretty good program for watching registry and other system changes.
